Showtime has already finished it's first season which had a grand finals on July 24, 2010 where XB Gensan became the first grand champions. The second season started July 26, 2010.
When Showtime started on October 2009, it was slated at a 10:30 am timeslot. On August 16, 2010 it was moved to 11:45 AM. On August 18, it was moved again to 12:20 PM slot pushing Pilipinas Win na Win to a 2:00 PM start.
There are five judges every week. Every week, one or more judges will be voted off through text votes from viewers. Only Vice Ganda cannot be evicted.
On January 11, 2010, Showtime was suspended for 20 days because of comments uttered by guest judge Rosanna Roces against teachers heard live on January 7.
